2016 AGILE Award Recipient, Andreas C. Kramvis Delivers Keynote at AIChE Spring Meeting

The AIChE Foundation congratulates Andreas C. Kramvis, vice chairman, Honeywell on receiving the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Government and Industry Leaders (AGILE) Award for his innovative leadership. Among other major accomplishments Kramvis is credited with turning around Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies business. Kramvis opened the 2016 Spring Meeting and Global Congress on Process Safety, held in Houston, Texas on April 11 with his Keynote entitled “Transforming a Business for Success.” Download press release here. 

Following the Keynote, S. Shariq Yosufzai, vice president at Chevron and vice chair of the AIChE Foundation spoke with Kramvis to discuss successful business transformation, business philosophy, and his advice to young leaders in the chemical engineering world. 

The AGILE Award is presented to leaders who have made significant contributions to the chemical engineering profession and whose initiatives have made a transformative impact within the chemical engineering industry.
