More Than a Scholarship: A Conversation Across Generations of Chemical Engineers

The AIChE Foundation recently hosted a MAC Scholar Meet & Greet connecting Brown Endowment donors with two new MAC Scholars, Brielle Bugauisan (Purdue University) and Kwasi Asare Agyemang (University of Idaho). The conversation highlighted how support from the Henry T. & Melinda C. Brown Endowment helps students pursue opportunities in chemical engineering while building connections with mentors and professionals in the field.

Engineer Impact: A Conversation with Langer Prize Fellows

In a fireside chat with Bob Langer, five Langer Prize Fellows reflected on how the award enabled them to explore ambitious research, attract collaborators and investors, and translate discoveries beyond the lab. Their stories demonstrated how early recognition can accelerate both scientific progress and professional opportunity. The Langer Prize encourages emerging researchers with blue-sky ideas to apply and take the next step in advancing their research toward real-world solutions.
