Ahead of the 2025 AIChE Annual Meeting, both the AIChE Foundation Board of Trustees and the AIChE Board of Directors achieved 100% leadership giving — only the second time in history. All 35 members prioritized AIChE in their charitable contributions, reflecting strong commitment to the mission. This milestone was driven by Jennifer Sinclair Curtis and Joseph Smith, who actively engaged both boards throughout the year. Impact stories, such as the Bee a ChemE K-12 STEM Ambassador program, highlighted how donations transform lives and careers. As 2025 closes, AIChE looks forward to sustaining this success with incoming leaders Anne O’Neal and Mike Graff.

For the past 10 years, the AIChE Foundation has been privileged to do a world of good alongside an incredible community of donors, partners, and supporters. What began as a vision to strengthen the chemical engineering profession and expand opportunities has grown into a movement rooted in impact, service, and possibility.

This December, the AIChE® Gala — Engineering a Decade of Impact — will mark the 10th anniversary of the Foundation’s Doing a World of Good campaign. Over the past decade, Gala support has raised millions to strengthen process safety education, award scholarships, expand faculty and K–12 programs, and foster inclusion across the profession. The 2025 Gala will honor all who have advanced societal good through chemical engineering and look ahead to the next decade of impact.
