Cynthia Murphy-Ortega, portfolio manager with University Partnerships and Association Relations of Chevron Corporation, gave the keynote address at the Women's Initiative Committee (WIC) Luncheon at the 2016 AIChE Annual Meeting. Her talk was entitled "Reflections on an Engineering Career in the Energy Business."

She took the time to sit down with Bruce Arbit of the AIChE Foundation to discuss her talk and answer questions like:

  • How do you see the chemical engineering industry changing in the future with respect to women?
