Unprecedented Individual Giving Supports the Extraordinary

2021 was a year of firsts.
Our first class of FOSSI scholars entered college. Our third Langer Fellow was the first to be recognized in person. Our first cadre of K-12 STEM Ambassadors (thank you OSU students!) engaged elementary and middle school students through hands-on experiments.

It was also the first time that you, our individual donors, contributed nearly $1MM to the Foundation. Thank you. You are changing the future of the profession with your investment.

My favorite part of 4th grade is being with the Ohio State K-12 STEM Ambassadors because it was out of the ordinary and we got to do really cool science experiments. - Delaney

Your gift is extraordinary. Your donation helps expand K-12 STEM initiatives in the classroom, opens the door to those who never dreamed that chemical engineering was in their future, and supports young professionals as they embark upon their career path – and more!

Every gift to the AIChE Foundation does a world of good. Your generosity will support chemical engineers who never stop inventing, innovating, and reimagining ways to make our lives better.

Join us to continue making the extraordinary possible with a gift today.

The Ohio State University Student Chapter pilots the Dow K-12 STEM Ambassador Program in Columbus, OH classrooms. Thanks to the generosity of AIChE Foundation Trustee, Dan Coombs, and his wife Ellen, both Buckeyes, and Dow, which donated the content, including experiments, and supported the students with classroom best practices and other trainings.
