Award Honorariums & Speaker Fees
Turn Your Speaking Engagement or Award into a Good Deed! Award recipients and conference speakers can opt to designate the AIChE Foundation and do a world of good. To donate your honorarium or speaker fee (and avoid the taxable income) you must transfer the honorarium directly to AIChE Foundation. To inform us of your intent, please email giving@aiche.org.
Endowment Gifts
Endowment gifts make a significant impact because they offer financial stability and ensure long-term funding to support and maintain AIChE priorities and programs.
A bequest or gift to the Endowment Fund is money that is invested on a permanent basis and not spent directly. Based on earnings and growth of the Fund, a conservative percentage of the fund is withdrawn each year to support programs so the fund will last in perpetuity. AIChE members can make charitable contributions through their annual AIChE dues renewal. As a member, when you renew your membership, either online or by mail, you can support education and career development initiatives in AIChE Communities including MAC and WIC, programs to engage Student Members or give the Foundation flexibility to direct your gift to where the need is greatest ( Doing a World of Good Fund).
