The 2025 AIChE® Gala — Engineering a Decade of Impact — is more than a celebration. It marks the 10-year anniversary of our Doing a World of Good, a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together and to recognize the power of philanthropy in transforming the chemical engineering community.
In just ten years, thanks to your generosity, we’ve:
- Certified more than 92,897 ChE undergrads and trained more than 1,000 professors on process safety through UPSLI
- Cultivated an inclusive profession through IDEAL Communities
- Enhanced education for hundreds of faculty members at Summer School
- Provided hands on learning to nearly 500 elementary & middle schools through Bee A ChemE
- Selected more than 500 HBCU undergrads pursuing STEM degrees for scholarships through FOSSI
This year’s Gala featured remarks from leaders of our industry as to the power of philanthropy in cultivating and nurturing our community of chemical engineers.
- Joseph Smith – President, AIChE
- Erin Kane - CEO, AdvanSix
- Bob Langer – Institute Professor, MIT
- Michelle Caveness – SVP – Manufacturing, Eastman
Funds raised during the evening support an array of programs that attract and retain talent, educate and enhance careers, recognize rising stars and change the perception of chemical engineers and what we do.
If you were unable to join us, you can still participate. Your gift will amplify our efforts and set the stage for another Decade of Impact
