Celebrating a Decade of Impact at the 19th Annual Donor Recognition Dinner

The AIChE Foundation celebrated its generous donor community at the 19th Annual Donor Recognition Dinner. Held in honor of the Foundation’s supporters, the evening recognized A.-H. “Alissa” Park, 2025 Fundraiser of the Year, and Scott and Karen Love, 2025 Philanthropists of the Year, for their extraordinary leadership and generosity. The program also honored members of the McKetta Lifetime Giving Society and the AIChE Legacy Society, whose enduring commitment continues to sustain programs that shape the future of chemical engineering. Together, these honorees and our donor community marked the 10th anniversary of Doing a World of Good—a decade of impact made possible by the vision and dedication of those who give.

McKetta Lifetime Giving Society: Celebrating New and Elevated Members

This year marks a double milestone — the 10th Anniversary of Doing a World of Good and the 10th Anniversary of the John J. McKetta, Jr. AIChE Lifetime Giving Society, named in honor of Dr. McKetta’s 100th birthday in 2015. In celebrating both occasions, the AIChE Foundation proudly recognizes the new and newly elevated McKetta Society members whose generosity, leadership, and commitment to the profession carry forward Dr. McKetta’s enduring legacy and inspire future generations of chemical engineers.

Full Circle: A Lifetime of Connection Inspires Gift to Shape the Future

Dr. Girish and Mrs. Chhaya Bhatt, long-time AIChE members, recently made a leadership donation to the Foundation in recognition of the professional and personal growth AIChE has provided throughout Dr. Bhatt’s five-decade membership. Their gift underscores the lasting bond between members and the Institute and supports future engineers through education, innovation, and professional development opportunities.
